How to Type ℒ (Script Capital L | Cursive L)
The symbol ℒ is called Script Capital L. Many people use it in math, physics, or formulas. Because it is not on the normal keyboard, you need a special method to type it.
Method 1: Type ℒ on Windows (Alt code)
This is the easiest way on Windows if you have a keyboard with a number pad.
- Turn on Num Lock on your keyboard.
- Place the cursor where you want the symbol.
- Hold down the Alt key (use the left Alt key).
- While holding Alt, type 8466 using the number pad on the right side of the keyboard.
